By Claire Kelley - USEA Staff

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce the continued partnership with longtime supporter Nutrena® Feeds. Nutrena Feeds has returned as a Corporate Sponsor and the “Official Feed of the USEA.” Nutrena Feeds will also return as the Presenting Sponsor of the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) for 2020 and 2021. The AEC will remain at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky in 2020 on August 25-30 and 2021 on August 31-September 5.

Cargill manufactures and markets a complete line of Nutrena brand feeds and supplements that help horses and all classes of livestock maintain optimal health throughout all stages of life. Using the highest-quality ingredients and the most up-to-date nutritional technology, Cargill is committed to the health, well-being, and safety of its customers' horses, livestock, and pets.

“We have partnered with Nutrena for over 15 years and we are eternally grateful for their continuous support. The success of the AEC wouldn’t be possible without them,” said USEA CEO Rob Burk. “This company puts equine health at the utmost importance and their feed is always made with highest-quality ingredients. We are honored to call Nutrena Feeds the ‘Official Feed of the USEA.'”

“Our partnership with USEA has grown over the years and we feel privileged to produce products to help keep event horses healthy and fit for their jobs,” said Russell Mueller, U.S. Retail Equine Marketing Manager for Cargill. “USEA has been a great advocate for our feeds and we are proud to continue to support their mission including our role as presenting sponsor of the AEC.”

Alliston’s Busy Weekend, Braitling’s Reuniting with Five-Star Mount, & Kalkman’s Advanced Victory Highlight Twin Rivers Summer H.T.

As he was finishing tacking up his horse in preparation to navigate the cross-country course at the 2024 Twin Rivers Summer Horse Trials, James Alliston expressed concern about navigating the 101 Freeway. That’s because as soon as he crossed the finish line aboard Intermediate level winner Addyson (Ampere x Nickerbocker) at 10:38 a.m. on Saturday—his fifth cross-country round of the morning with three at Preliminary and two at Intermediate—the West Coast-based five-star rider had to drive 185 miles on the 101 Freeway from Twin Rivers Ranch in Paso Robles, California, to San Francisco International Airport to catch a 4:35 p.m. flight to Frankfurt, Germany.
