Morven Park Advanced Horse Trials photos - Part 1

By USEA

Check out the photo gallery from last weekend's Morven Park Horse Trials Advanced division which took place in Leesburg, Virginia. Nina Gardner's Loose N' Cool jumped to the top of the leaderboard with Phillip Dutton in the irons, taking over the lead from dressage co-leaders Leslie Law aboard Peter Green's Evening Shade and Kim Severson on Tipperary Liadhnan (owned by Friends of Kim Severson Syndicate). It was a wonderful fall day full of fantastic rides, and chances are, you'll see many of these same horse-and-rider combinations at the Fair Hill CCI3* in a few weeks! To see the complete results - visit the Morven Park website..Photos by Emily Daily & Erica Larson.

Now On Course: Patience Pays Off for Nazila Hejazi & Her 20-Year-Old Missouri Fox Trotter

Nazila Hejazi and her 20-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter mare, Tessa, may have made for an unconventional pair at the USEA Area VI Championships, held in October at Galway Downs (Temecula, California) but they didn’t let that hold them back. It’s uncommon to see a horse in their twenties still competing in eventing, and even more rare for a gaited horse to compete in a jumping sport.

Echoing the Dream: Small Acts of Kindness in Eventing

Today, we pause to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and reflect on the powerful moment in 1963 when he stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and shared his vision for a better future.
