Meet the teams of the 2021 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships

By Claire Kelley - USEA Staff

It’s time to meet the teams of the 2021 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships! A total of 105 competitors, 15 schools, and 27 teams will be competing at the 2021 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships on May 27-30 at Virginia Horse Trials.

In 2019, the Championship had 90 entries and this year there are 105 entries which makes this year the biggest Championship to date. Auburn University is coming back with two full teams to defend their 2019 championship title. The University of Kentucky is bringing the highest number of teams recorded in the history of Championships with over 8 teams, the University of Louisville has doubled their Championship entries from their debut in 2019, almost every school entered is bringing at least two teams, and the new Graduate division will have a variety of schools represented.

Before the action starts, find out which championship competitor has over 30,000 TikTok followers, or who is most likely to skip class, or which one is the team dad in the Meet the Teams preview.

The USEA would like to thank this year's USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championships Sponsors:
