Waredaca celebrated 20 years of its USEA Classic Series Three-Day Event from Oct.23-26 in Laytonsville, Maryland. From Beginner Novice through Modified, 72 horse and rider pairs got to experience the thrill of competing in a long format three-day event. Read on to learn more about the winners.
The USEA Area IV Championships took place on Oct. 18-20 at the Windermere Run Horse Trials in Grandview, Missouri, and six new Area IV champions were crowned from the Starter to Preliminary levels. Get to know each of them better below!
The Hagyard Midsouth Three-Day Event hosted two USEA Classic Series divisions from Oct. 16-20 in Lexington, Kentucky. Twenty-nine horse and rider pairs contested the Training Three-Day, while 32 were in the Novice Three-Day. Read on to learn more about the winners!
The USEA Area II Championships saw a 50% increase in entries this year at The Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm. Running alongside regular horse trials divisions from Oct. 4-6 in Adamstown, Maryland, the championships saw 10 winners crowned. Meet some of them below!

This year’s USEA Area VII Championships took place across two weekends with the Intermediate, Preliminary, Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice levels taking place at the Aspen Farm Horse Trials in Yelm, Washington, from Sept. 13-15, and the Starter level running as part of the Spokane Sport Horse Farm Horse Trials in Spokane, Washington, from Sept. 27-29. There were 13 new Area VII Champions crowned across the various championship divisions. Get to know each of them a little bit better below!
The Classic Three-Day Event Series, which features seven competitions each year, is a beloved program of the USEA that gives Beginner Novice to Preliminary level competitors the chance to experience the unforgettable rush of the classic long-format three-day event. At each event, competitors are immersed in an educational weekend that revives all the elements that we know and love from the old school competition format - roads and tracks, steeplechase, and cross-country on "endurance day," as well as horse inspections and more!
