The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to offer the USEA Adult Team Championships (ATC) at the upcoming USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds. The Adult Team Championships will be offered once again at the Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, Modified and Preliminary levels for members of the USEA Adult Rider Program.

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) Board of Governors has voted to enter into contract negotiations with Galway Downs Equestrian to host the 2025 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) at Galway Downs in Temecula, California, with an option for another one-year term in 2029. The Board also approved the entering of contract negotiations with Equestrian Events Inc. (EEI) and Kentucky Classique to host the AEC at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, for the years 2026, 2027, and 2028.

(EEI) and Mary Fike are thrilled to announce the addition of the Starter level to the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds in Lexington, Kentucky, from Aug. 27–Sept. 1, 2024! In its first year as a recognized level, Starter will be offered in two Championship divisions for interested competitors: Open and Junior.
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) Board of Governors (BOG) met virtually on the evening of Jan. 16 for the first BOG meeting of the new year. While the agenda featured a variety of old and new business topics to discuss, the majority of the meeting time was spent reviewing rule change proposals that were originally presented during the 2023 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention in December. A rule change proposal feedback portal was open for USEA members to share their thoughts on each of the discussed proposals, and member feedback was taken into account when discussing each of the proposals.
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds (AEC) is the annual national championship for every level of the Olympic equestrian sport of eventing. The USEA is officially accepting bids for the following service providers at the 2024 USEA AEC which takes place Aug. 27—Sept. 1, 2024 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
The 2023 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention came to a close on Sunday with the final USEA Board of Governors meeting. After the call to order, USEA Senior Director of Membership Services/Meeting Planner Jennifer Hardwick gave a brief overview of the annual meeting. There were 321 attendees and 220 who came to the awards dinner. Next year’s Annual Meeting & Convention will be held in Seattle, Washington, from Dec. 10-15 at the Westin Seattle.
This afternoon, USEA President Louise “Lou” Leslie welcomed U.S. Eventing Association (USEA) Board of Governors members, USEA staff, and USEA Annual Meeting & Convention attendees to the first of two Board meetings which will take place during this year’s Convention in St. Louis, Missouri, with the teaser that 2024 is going to be full of initiatives for more opportunities to access the eventing experience, some of which attendees might get first wind of during this year’s gathering. The 2023 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention takes place Dec. 7-10 at the Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel.
Each year every member of the USEA receives a nomination ballot to submit nominees to the Board of Governors and during the Annual Meeting of Members, all members are invited to vote for those individuals nominated to serve. All members receive a proxy to vote for their chosen representatives for those unable to attend the Annual Meeting of Members. The only restriction for Board membership is that they must be USEA members. There are 10 positions representing each Area of the country and 11 at-large positions with no other restrictions.
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) American Eventing Championships (AEC) is the annual national championship for every level of the Olympic equestrian sport of eventing. The USEA is excited to announce a request for expressions of interest to host the AEC in the years 2025 through 2028, with preference being given to a western region venue in 2025.
