The $60,000 Adequan® USEA Advanced Final, which will take place during the 2025 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds on Aug. 26-31, is the highlight of an already jam-packed championship schedule. This year, the championship will be hosted at Galway Downs in Temecula, California, giving West Coast-based, upper-level eventers the “home field advantage” during this exciting showdown.
When the Advanced Final was originally introduced at the AEC, qualifications for the event were based on competitors’ results at 11 designated Gold Cup qualifying events. In 2019, however, the USEA expanded the qualification offerings to allow more opportunities nationwide for competitors to earn their spot in the final. The winner of the Advanced Final will go home with a $30,000 check, courtesy of Adequan®, and an array of other prizes thanks to the AEC sponsors.
To qualify for the 2025 $60,000 Adequan® USEA Advanced Final, competitors will need to complete a minimum of two events without cross-country jump penalties at any USEA Advanced recognized horse trial, CCI4*-S, CCI4*-L, or CCI5*-L, including the World Championships and Olympic Games. The qualifying period for the 2025 AEC is May 20, 2024 – Aug. 12, 2025.
Whether you are a prospective competitor or an enthusiastic fan of the sport that is interested in watching the best of the best compete, you will want to mark the following qualifying event dates on your calendar.
