Request for Expressions of Interest: Host Venues for Regional Emerging Athlete 21 Clinics

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) will be hosting the Emerging Athletes 21 (EA21) program which will consist of three regional clinics in the summer, leading to a national camp in the winter. The regional clinics (east, central, west) will be open to USEA Young Rider program members aged 21 and under, and then selections will be made from the regional clinics and Young Riders will be chosen to attend the national camp the following winter.

The regional clinics will be held over two days with dressage and show jumping on the first day and cross-country on the second.

Host sites should; be attractive and presentable venues, have good footing in arenas and on cross-country, and have the ability to fit trailers for parking. The ability to offer stabling to clinic attendees would be desirable for the regional clinics.

Expressions of interest should be submitted in the form of a letter and should consist of no more than 800 words. All expressions of interest for an EA21 host site located in the United States should also include the following:

1. Address of the proposed site(s), must be in the United States;
2. The permanent and/or temporary stall capacity, including stabling rates that would be charged to the attendees;
3. Existing infrastructure available for a clinic that includes dressage, jumping, and some cross-country (photos of these areas may be included);
4. Basic utilities available (water, electric, internet, etc);
5. Any other features of note (i.e. parking, RV/camping availability);
6. Proposed business model, as the USEA is seeking a donated venue(s);
7. Indication of available summer dates in 2022, and;
8. Contact information for the person or entity submitting the expression of interest.
   

All expressions of interest should be submitted by end of day, Monday, March 14, 2022.

The purpose of the Emerging Athletes 21 program is to create a pipeline for potential team riders by identifying and developing young talent, improving horsemanship and riding skills, and training and improving skills and consistency.
