The Woodside Spring Horse Trials highlighted accomplishments across a range of experiences for event horses and riders.

This year, Winona Horse Trials in Hanoverton, Ohio, celebrated their 40th year at their spring USEA-recognized event, held May 3-4.

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce the continued partnership with Canter Culture for the 2025 competition season.

The remaining two FEI divisions at the Virginia Horse Center Eventing horse trials, presented by Capital Square, wrapped up on Sunday with inaugural International wins for the leaders of both long-format divisions, the CCI2*-L and the CCI1*-L. Emily Hamel and her new partner, Kingston, won the CCI2*-L division on a score of 31.5. In the CCI1*-L, James Power took home the blue ribbon aboard Brambleridge Ponder the Truth with a score of 37.

Conditioning plans can vary from 12 weeks down to four weeks. The most important thing is to remember that the plan should fit the horse and rider, not vice versa. There are general templates but all schedules will look different and should be tailored to you and your horse’s specific needs.

The CCI3*-S and the CCI2*-S wrapped up on Saturday, May 24th, at the Virginia Horse Center Eventing horse trials, presented by Capital Square, but the CCI2*-L and the CCI1*-L still have one more phase to go. The weekend has been characterized by pioneering moments for horses and riders alike.

The Virginia Horse Center was bustling with activity during day one of Virginia Horse Center Eventing horse trials, presented by Capital Square. A total of four FEI divisions and six national divisions kicked off the competition weekend. Two long-format competitions, a CCI1*-L and a CCI2*-L, completed their dressage tests on Friday, May 23rd, while the CCI2*-S and CCI3*-S tackled two phases— dressage and show jumping.
