After two years on the East Coast, the United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is thrilled to be packing our bags and heading West for the 2025 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds. On August 26-31, top USEA competitors from near and far will converge on Galway Downs in Temecula, California, for the annual championship that celebrates every level of the Olympic sport of eventing from Starter through Advanced. This year’s event will again feature the $60,000 Adequan USEA Advanced Final and the USEA Adult Team Championships.

The second edition of the USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships is anticipated to have record participation, and anyone who has attended the event in the past knows that the camaraderie is unbeatable. From the endless decorations to the team chants heard around the grounds, the Collegiate and IEL competitors know how to show their spirit, and their extra pep will again be accessed in the race for the coveted Spirit Awards.

The coveted Spirit Award at the USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships is incorporating a new component to the always exciting contests and activities: a College Fair! This is an important opportunity for college students to market their schools, not only to impress the Spirit Award judges, but to capture potential new students from the Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) that are looking toward their futures.

Freshman year of college is a time of transition. Between being away from home and learning how to take care of yourself, there’s a lot on your plate. More so for Florida State University student Kani Schram, who found herself with a burgeoning eventing team hoisted upon her when the previous team captain needed to step down.

The 2025 USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships are officially two months away! Collegiate and IEL athletes from across the country are gearing up for what has been coined the “Happiest Horse Trials on Earth,” and the USEA can’t wait for the fun to begin. This year’s championships will again be hosted by Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, and will now be hosted across three days on Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4 to give the students even more time to enjoy all that the event has to offer.

The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is excited to announce the addition of the USEA Young Rider (YR) Mentorship to the 2025 USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships on Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4. Originally established at the USEF Eventing Young Rider Championships, the Young Rider Mentorship Program will be offered for the first time for our collegiate members and gives participants the opportunity to shadow eventing officials and learn more about the behind-the-scenes professions that make our sport possible.

The 2025 AEC take place Aug. 26-31, 2024 at Galway Downs in Temecula, California.

Rally your teammates! The spring semester is here and the 2025 USEA Intercollegiate Team Challenge season has officially begun. As riders prepare for the USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championship on May 2-4 at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, many will be heading to their local Horse Trials to sharpen their skills and build team spirit ahead of this epic event.

As USEA members strive to set new goals and start gearing up for another exciting year of eventing, the Intercollegiate Eventing Program is taking one more chance to celebrate the successes of 2024. Last year, the USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championship was hosted alongside the inaugural USEA Interscholastic Eventing Championship, and the Auburn University War Eagles showed the next generation how it’s done by securing the school’s fourth National Championship.
