COVID-19 Forces Cancellation of 2020 MARS Equestrian Bromont CCI Three-Day Event

Bromont Horse Trials Inc, organizers of the MARS Equestrian Bromont CCI Three-Day Event scheduled for June 3 to 7 have announced the cancellation of this event for 2020. Little Bromont planned for June 13, the following weekend at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park, is also not expected to run.

We received official confirmation today from the IOC and Organizing Committee for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games that in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic both organizations have jointly decided to postpone the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games to 2021.

2020 Olympic Games Officially Postponed

In the present circumstances and based on the information provided by the WHO today, the IOC President and the Prime Minister of Japan have concluded that the Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo must be rescheduled to a date beyond 2020 but not later than summer 2021, to safeguard the health of the athletes, everybody involved in the Olympic Games and the international community.
