GMHA, 5491 South Road, South Woodstock, VT  05071
From West: NY Thruway to 1-87 northway to exit 20. Take Rte 149 to Fort Ann, then Rte 4 east to Rutland then Woodstock. Take right on Rte 106 before Woodstock Inn south 6 miles to GMHA.
From South: I-91 to Ascutney exit 8, Rte 131 west 7 miles to Rte 106 north, 12 miles to GMHA. 
From East: I-89 north to exit 1 in VT. Take Rte 4 west to Woodstock, Then right on Rte 106 south to GMHA. SPEED limit 25 mph strictly enforced in Woodstock.

Thurs: Barns open for arrivals Noon, Cross-country opens 3pm.
Fri: One Day: BN/N will run as a 1-day event on Friday only.
If oversubscribed, 1 division may be run on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate.

8 am - 1 pm: FEI CIC* In barn vet exam; CIC*: Dressage: 3:00 
Fri: One Day: BN/N: Dressage: 7:30; Show Jumping: 10:00; Cross-country 5 minutes after the completion of Show Jumping.

I, P, T:  Show Jumping-8 am.
Sun: Cross-country-7:30 am.

Make checks payable to GMHA. SEPARATE check per horse/rider combination.

Entry fee Friday:  $220.00
Entry fee Saturday and Sunday: $235.00
Entry fee CIC*: $410.00
Stabling fee: $55.00 per night.  Please specify on entry which nights you require stabling.
Grounds fee: $25.00 per entry for non-stabled horses

Attention US riders: Entries for ALL FEI competitions must be submitted to the FEI through the USEF online entry system

or they will not be considered complete. There is no fee to submit an entry through this system. Athletes MUST also enter the events (and pay the entry fees) through the normal entry process. Please also pay close attention to the closing date in the FEI Definite Schedule. Foreign riders need to contact their National Federation.

Refunds: scratches received in writing on or before closing date will be refunded minus a $25 office fee.  No refunds of any fees after closing date. In the event the competition has to cancel, there will be no refunds. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.


Optional: We have a "Sponsor a Volunteer" program which will go for paying for volunteer gifts, parties and lunches - add a $25 donation to Optional Fees on your entry form please.
Entries:
Please note that NOVICE will run as a ONE DAY on Friday, If oversubscribed, 1 division MIGHT be run on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate. 

You may enter through EventEntries.com. Mail paper USEA 2017 Entry, 
Stabling form, current Coggins, and Rabies certificate with check to GMHA postmarked on opening date, one check per horse and rider combination.  Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant, based on discretion of management; state preferences under the eligible section.  Confirmation status will be posted on www.gmhainc.org and www.area1usea.org. USEA membership required at the Novice level and above. Beginner Novice competitors must be USEA members or pay the non-member fee.  CIC1*, Intermediate and Preliminary competitors (rider & owner & trainer & coach (if applicable)) must submit copies of USEF membership card or pay USEF show pass fee. You will be given paper number to be worn in your own pinny for x-c. All changes must be made in writing, mail, fax or email. There will be a $35 change fee for ANY change to an entry after the closing date; ex. change of horse or rider or division. There is a $35 fee for any bounced checks. Incomplete Entries: $20 incomplete fee for entries that are missing Coggins/Rabies/Signatures after the closing date.  Refunds: scratches received in writing on or before closing date will be refunded minus a $25 office fee.  No refunds of any fees after closing date. CIC Riders and horses must be registered with the FEI. U.S. horses must have a National or FEI passport. All foreign horses must have an FEI Passport. 

Competitor Information
Awards:
Trophy and 8 ribbons for each division. Special award presented to the GMHA Member with the best overall score at any level. Become a GMHA member today! TIP awards for highest placed Thoroughbred at each level.  Please provide TIP numbers with your entry
Stabling/Veterinarian:

165 permanent box stall and 42 portable stalls, all with solid doors.
No bedding or hay provided; available for sale $10 per bale/bag.
No tack stalls available.
Stalls are to be stripped upon departure. You will be billed $50 for dirty stall.
Vet/Farrier on call Thursday, on grounds Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Phone numbers will be posted in the office and in the event program.

Accommodations:
Visit ww.gmhainc.org for accommodations list or WoodstockChamberVT.com for accommodations list.   Town of Woodstock Zoning prohibits camping of any kind (tents, trailers, camper, etc.) on GMHA grounds. Book lodging early!
Dressage:
CIC1-2015  FEI One-Star Test B-Std.  I-2014 USEF Intermediate Eventing Test B-Std.  P- 2014 USEF Preliminary Eventing Test A-Sm. PT - 2014 USEF Preliminary Eventing Test A-Sm. T- 2014 USEF Training Eventing Test B-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Eventing Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Eventing Test B-Sm.   Sand and grass arenas.
Cross-Country:
CIC1-3100m at 520 mpm. I-3100m at 550 mpm.  P -3000m at 520 mpm.  T -2600m at 450 mpm. N -2200m at 375 mpm.  BN -2000m at 350 mpm.  New track for I, CIC* & P divisions: courses will be reversed from previous years.  Courses: True to the level while offering positive educational questions. Terrain: some hills, much water, fields and woods. Cross-country is closed July 9.
Other Information:
Cross-country is closed July 9. No wheeled or motorized vehicles on Cross country course. Concession on grounds during show hours. Strict Dog Policy: Pets must be leashed at all times, $50 fee for each off leash occurence. No dogs allowed on cross country course on cross country day. Horses must wear bridle number when out of stall. There is no cell phone coverage at GMHA. Bring a calling card.
