Address: 1979 London Rd., New Market, TN 37820 Please follow Omnibus directions.  GPS/Mapquest may take you under a low overpass.
From Knoxville and West (I-40 or I-640 Bypass): Exit 394: Turn LEFT at light at exit onto 11E. Travel East approx. 16 miles to RG sign on left of hwy (Lowery Loop Rd). On right is New Market Church. Turn left and go straight at stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles. (NOTE: Do NOT take fork to the right on 11E that says 11W/25W.)
From Dandridge and East (I-40): Exit 417: Turn RIGHT at light at exit, onto Hwy 92. Travel North approx 10 mi. to 11E. Turn left (West) for approx 6 mi to RG sign on right at Lowery Loop Rd. Follow directions as above. More complete directions from hotels on website: river-glen.com

Tentative Schedule:
Friday:  Cross-country course open - 3 pm. Aerator used on cross-country course.
Saturday: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping-10:30 am;  All 3 phases of the Starter Division. Competitor Party (Complimentary) following Show Jumping!
Sunday: Cross-country-8 am.
PLEASE NOTE:  If number of horses warrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage (optional for competitor) or Sat x/country.  Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors. The Starter Test is a one-day test. This will facilitate those who wish to trailer-in for the day. A weekend stall may be secured if available. Divisions that demand both days will take priority.

Refunds:  Before closing date, full refund less $25 non-refundable office fee.  After closing date no refund (with exception of USEA Starter and D&M fees) unless stall is filled from waiting list.  WITHDRAWAL ACCEPTED IN WRITING, OR ACKNOWLEDGED EMAIL TO SEC'Y BEFORE CLOSING DATE.  Competition cancellation-No refund.  
USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy:  The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.  


 
Entries:
Entry fees:  A $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry. USEA membership and horse registration is required at al levels except Starter. Starter: USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA Starter fee does not apply. If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members.  Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant.  Preliminary and Intermediate MUST include copies of Rider, Owner and Trainer USEF membership cards.   Double entries:  Not accepted.  No changes allowed in office on the Friday of event unless mandated by USEF regulations.  
Late Entries:  By USEF rule:  COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must be RECEIVED IN OFFICE by the end of the day on the closing date. 
A late entry fee ($40) will be charged for any entry received after the closing date of May 23th.  A late change fee ($40) will be charged for any change made to entry after the closing date.  
Stabling Form:   Requests need to be noted by placing same name (trainer, barn or person to be stabled with) on stabling form.  Late entry stabling requests may not be able to be accommodated.  A separate check for Stall Deposit - PER HORSE- must be included.
An entry may be snail-mailed or filled out online at www.useventing.com/xentry.  Payment by credit card is accepted with electronic entry through xentry. ALL ENTRIES using www.xentry.com, must be printed and mailed to the secretary with original signatures, negative Coggins within 12 months, Stabling Form and any monies not paid online.   Any amounts owed at check-in must be paid with CASH.

Competitor Information
Awards:

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:

210 perm. stalls on grounds, 10 x 12;  permanent iron half/gates provided on stalls. Entries limited to stall capacity.  $160 Thursday thru Sunday nights, addt'l nights $25 per stall.  Initial 2 bags shavings included in cost.  Additional bags $7 each.   Stall deposit: $25; send separate check PER HORSE.   Stalls must be STRIPPED (not picked) or stall deposit check will be cashed. $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary. Tack stalls $160. No shavings provided.
Please note:  Starter division only runs Saturday.  Priority for stalls goes to divisions running entire weekend.
Veterinarian: Will be  on grounds through event. Emergency # also posted at secy's office.

Accommodations:
Host Hotel: Best Western (865) 544-7737 (at exit 398, off of I-40). Approx. 20 min. from show grounds. Must call directly for discounted competitor rates of $69.99. All other local hotels on www.river-glen.com/areainfo.htm.  CAMPING: Primitive, available on grounds, RV Hook ups as well.  Please specify early arrival or late departure on stabling form.  Showers available on grounds 24/7.

Test & arena sizes: I/IP - 2014 USEF Intermediate Test B-Std. P/PT- 2014 USEF Preliminary Test B-Std. T- 2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N- 2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. STARTER-2015 USDF Intro Test C.  Arenas: Crushed limestone & sand. Large warm-up arena.
Cross-Country:
I:  2600-3575 m @ 550 mpm, Max height 3'9. IP/P: 2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm, Max height 3'7. PT/T: 2000-2600 m @ 420-470 mpm, Max height 3'3. N: 1600-2200 m @ 350-400 mpm, Max height 2'11. BN: 1400-2000 m @ 300-350 mpm, Max. height 2'7". Starter:  Approx 1200m @300 mpm,  Max height 2'3". Exact distance and speed on maps at event.  Terrain:  Varied.  All courses: Average.  Water at all levels - BN crossing.  Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels.  Cross-country course closed May 27, 2017.

Competitor packets available from secretary from noon on Friday.
Cross Country Schooling permitted, with trainer present, for those who are eliminated after show is over on Sunday at no charge. For others who wish to school, fee is $25. Liability forms must be signed in office. 
Concessions on grounds.
Dogs must be leashed. 
All fees owed at packet pick-up must be paid in cash or by cashier's check.
Competitor Party on Saturday is complimentary to all... Wine, Appetizers!
