Tentative Schedule:
Thurs: Check in for stabling-12:00 pm; Cross-country open to walk 3 pm. 
Fri: All divisions Dressage 8 am start, afternoon course walk for competitors.  
Sat: All divisions Cross-country 8 am start. 
Sun: All divisions Show Jumping 8 am start. 
Scheduling subject to change dependent upon number of entries and weather.

Event Fees Directory: Credit card at Event Entries or draw checks to Fox River Valley Pony Club HT; separate check for each entry.
IP, P, T, N, BN: $240.00 includes new BH Park District 15.00 user surcharge.
Late Entry Fee: $25.00. Changes after closing date $25.00 fee.
Stabling:
$175.00; Tack Stall $150.00 (if available); Grounds Fee: $80.00 (non-stabled horses).
NSF Fee: $50.00. 
Pinney Holder Required: limited availability - sold on site $20.00. 


Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee. Withdrawals must be received in writing by mail, email or fax by 9:00 PM CST Closing Date. After C.D.-No refund. Competition cancellation - No refund.  USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the
dressage test.

Entries:
ENTRIES WILL BE LIMITED TO 260 TOTAL HORSES. Entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. $50.00 NSF fee. Stabling is Thursday 12:00 pm - Sunday 5 pm.   Double entries: Not accepted. All horses and riders must have a current USEA number.
Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee. Withdrawals must be received in writing by mail, email or fax by 9:00 PM CST Closing Date. After C.D.-No refund. Entry status will be posted to the website www.FRVPCHorsetrials.org and emailed. Scratches & changes must be emailed or faxed with complete info, including rider, horse & division.  No matter what level you ride, you must submit the USEA Entry Form signature page signed by rider, owner/agent and trainer.  Forms can be founds at www.useventing.com/competitions
 
Competitor Information
Awards:
Trophy & 8 ribbons per division. Prizes sponsored by Barrington Saddlery. Many perpetual trophies, with silver awarded. The FRVPC XC Technical Merit award - judged by our celebrity guest professional rider (past pros: Allison Springer, Peter Gray, Clayton Fredericks, Will Coleman) will be awarded at the Competitor party. 
Stabling/Veterinarian:
Stabling on site, temp & perm. stalls with doors-$175 Thurs.-Sun. Request for group stabling use one name (i.e: barn or  trainer).  Check-in starts at 12:00 pm Thursday. Please check website for stabling assignments.  1 bag initial bedding provided. Additional bedding for sale onsite, $8.00. Please leave stalls without manure and urine and help out by removing as much shavings as possible - your help is appreciated! Limited electricity.

Dressage:
IP-2014 USEF Intermediate Test B-Std.  P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test B-Std. T-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas and Warm-up: Sand & grass. Note I/P and Prelim tests will be in standard arena on sand.
Cross-Country:
Cross Country course closed starting morning of June 8th.  
IP/P-2800+/- m @ 520 mpm; T-2550+/- m @ 450 mpm N-2050+/- m @ 400 mpm BN-1600 m+/- @ 350 mpm.  Natural grass footing well maintained and aerovated. Terrain is wooded trails, prairie, gently rolling country. Average difficulty for horses with some experience at these levels. Other Information:
Cross country maintenance program is ongoing. We are continually developing new tracks, aerovating and seeding, and adding new jumps at each level. Please refrain from schooling when the ground is soft and wet! We are privileged to be able to use the Spring Creek Forest Preserve of Cook County. Please respect their regulations: ABSOLUTELY NO UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES ON CROSS COUNTRY COURSE. NO BIKES ON COURSE. ALL GOLF CART DRIVERS MUST HOLD VALID LICENSE. NO CAMPING on Forest Preserve Property, NO TENTS OR FIRES ALLOWED.  ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AND PLEASE CLEAN UP MESSES.  
Levels may be eliminated/divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and include birth date on entry.
No matter what level you ride, you must submit the 2017 Entry form signature page signed by rider, owner/agent and trainer.
All riders must sign  the Barrington Hills Park District Release and FRVPC Release. If you are under 18 years old,  release forms must be signed by your Parent/Guardian. 
Mail/fax to secretary with rider information clearly listed or bring to Check-in.
Food Concessions on grounds.  Competitors Party Saturday evening -free for Officials, Competitors, and Volunteers. Additional tickets $12 Adults, $6.00 children.  DJ, line Dancing and fun to be had.   Barrington Saddlery will be on the grounds. Kasey Mueller Photography and RNS Video available for purchase.
