Sundance Farm H.T. (Sep 2014) Omnibus Listing

While this is the first time Sundance Farm has offered a USEA approved HT, we have run numerous mini events.  Fairgrounds offers established sand dressage rings with judges booths, and seperate ring for warm up.  All banks, water, and ditches constructed by Eric Bull.  Note stabling is 4 miles from cross country -trailering will be necessary on Sunday morning. Show Jumping will be at Fairgrounds.

Directions:
Address: 229 Fairview Drive, Plymouth, WI   Sheboygan County Fairgrounds for Stabling and Dressage.  From Hwy 23, Plymoth, exit south on County OJ (Citgo Gas on corner).  Proceed 1\2 mile into residential area.  Fairgrounds on left.  Enter Gate 3.

Address:  W6224 Woodland Road, Plymouth WI  Sundance Farm for Cross-country and Show Jumping.  Exit Fairgrounds right to Hwy 23.  Take that right (East).  Immediately get in left lane.  Exit left onto County Rd E.  Immediately turn left on to County O (frontage Road).  Continue approximately 1\2 mile to stop sign.  Return on to Hwy 23 to right (West). Continue 2 miles to County C.  Exit ramp on right.  Turn left at stop sign.  Proceed one mile to Woodland Road.  Watch for sign.  Turn left on Woodland Road and procedd to end of road.  (Do not rely on GPS systems as the "J lanes" on Hwy 23 are new). This is the safest route for horse trailers.

Entry per division:  $200.00.
Stabling:  $100.00\weekend.
Grounds Fee for non stabled horses: $40.00.
Tack Stall:  $75.00.
Camping:  $60.00\weekend, includes electricity.

Teams: $5.00/per team.



Entries:
Include printed, legible current email address on entry.  All corresondence from Secretary will be via email.  Entries will not be considered complete until payment is received.  Please send complete entry with original signatures, payment, and Negative Coggins (dated after 1\1\2014) to Secretary.  Changes\Scratches must be made in writing.  $25 fee for changes after closing date. Late entries accepted if space available; must pay $50 late fee.  Funds postmarked after close date will be charged late fee. 
Team Scramble: Two riders in any divisions. Scores from only one dressage test and one jumping phase are used.  Team mates do not need to be in same division.  Team must declare which rider's dressage score will be used prior to start of competition.  Sign up at entry booth upon check-in.  Fee $5\rider on team.  Prizes provided by Area IV Adult Riders.
Trainer Award:  Trainer must sign up before before noon on Saturday.  Designate rider's names for points to be accumlated.

Entry fee includes a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee for withdrawls received in writing (via e-mail or snail mail).  After C.D.-Less $30 only if place can be filled from wait list; usually credit toward future event.  NO phone cancellations accepted.  After C.D.-Entry/Stabling- No refund. Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Health Certificate and Coggins:  In State: negative Coggins dated after 1\1\14.  Out of State:  Health Certificate dated witin 30 days of competition and negative Coggins dated after 1\1\14. 
Competitor Information
Awards:
Engraved Platter & 6 ribbons per division. Small Engraved Platters for Low Dressage Score and Optimum time. Highpoint Trainer Award. Team Awards.
Stabling/Veterinarian:
110 Permanent stalls, doors provided.  Stabling and Show Jumping at fairgrounds with dressage rings.  Cross-country 4 miles away at Sundance Farm.  Bedding available $7\bag.  $25 Clean Stall Deposit Required - check will be destroyed if stall is stripped.  Designate one stabling group name if you want to stable with others.  Stabling fee $100 for weekend.  Grounds Fee for non-stabled horses $40.  Out of state horses must have Health Certificate.  Veterinarian on Grounds: Fredonia Vet Clinic  (920)262-2439Farrier on grounds: Mark Ellis (414)416-1324.
 
Accommodations:

Limited camping available at fairgrounds with elctrical and water hookup.  $30\night. Coin operated Showers available on grounds: Must reserve ahead. If you are arriving late, please contact Event Secretary ahead of arrival.
Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: T-2014 USEF Training Test B -Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014  USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: Sand.
Cross-Country:
T-2200m @ 450 mpm.  N-1750m @ 375 mpm.  BN-1500m @ 350 mpm. All courses:  Inviting with rolling to hilly terrain with open and wooded lanes.  All levels offer water hazard, banks, and ditches.  Nice variety of jumps. NO vehicles on course without permission.  All dogs must be on leash and under control at all times.
Other Information:
Cross-country course closed September 12, 2014.   Food available on grounds.  This HT will provide pinney's for BN and N riders.  Training Level Riders must have Pinny Holders.  We will provide paper numbers.  Competitor's party will be offered on the cross-country course Saturday night. Free for volunteers and competitors.  Additional tickets must be purchased at show office for $15.  Lost Pinney $25.  All riders must sign Sundance Farm Release Form; 18 and under must have parent or guardian signature. Limit 110 entries.  Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times.
