FEI TARGETED CN: The Advanced, Intermediate and Preliminary Divisions have been approved by the FEI to be conducted as
2013 FEI Targeted CNs. Qualifying Results achieved at these levels will be considered to be equivalent to MERs at the comparable FEI CIC level (P=CIC1*) for the purposes of moving up to the next level for 2013 only. It is VERY IMPORTANT to note that results achieved at Targeted CNs MAY NOT BE USED to qualify for the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships and WILL NOT count towards FEI Rider Categorization.
Career2 NY Second Career Thoroughbred Circuit and Grand Finale- A,I,P,T,N,BN . Enter your registered Thoroughbred and compete to Win $300 Prize Money at all levels and ribbons. Awards: All levels will win: 1st place $200 plus saddle pad, 2nd place $100, plus ribbons for placements 1-6. See Area1 website for Career2 details.
At the Grande Finale Win an Additional $700 for 1st and $300 for 2nd, Ribbons 1-6. Grand Finale winners are highest accumulated score in the Circuit in each level.
Compete in any of the 10 NY Second Career Circuit events honoring the retraining of Second Career Thoroughbreds (SCTBs), bred anywhere in the world, in the sport of Eventing. The Grand Finale will be held at Millbrook Horse Trials August 2-5.

Entry fee: includes a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months & must accompany entry. Non-negotiable checks will incur a $30 fee. No foreign checks (US dollars only). Faxed entries will not be accepted.
Changes: All changes must be in writing. Changes after C.D., are subject to $30 fee.
Late Fees: accepted if space permits. $50 late fee after closing date.
Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry – no refund; Stabling refund only if stall can be filled. All withdrawals before C.D. must be in writing (email preferred). Competition cancellation-No Refund.
Non-compete horses: are welcome, include $50 fee plus stall fees. Please note: If competition is over-subscribed, priority for stalls will be given to competing horses.
Tack Stalls: are available, only if space permits. Priority given to competing horses.

Limited. $180/stall 10 am Wed. to 6 pm Sunday. No horses accepted before Wed. without prior permission. Please notify management for arrivals after 8:00 pm. Extra nights: $50/stall per night. USEA stabling form and "requests to stable with" must accompany entry. 52 perm/balance temp. stalls on grounds.
$60 clean stall deposit required – write separate check.
Stalls must be STRIPPED AND MUST BE CHECKED OUT WITH THE STABLE MANGER OR THE DEPOSIT CHECK WILL BE CASHED. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO REFUNDS. Bring stall guards. Cross-country course closed. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section. Food on grounds. Competitor's Party Sat. Night – Details to be announced. Camper's OK, hook-ups not available, first come first serve on spaces. Some trailers may be parked off grounds within ½ mile. Follow parking signs carefully! For insurance reasons please respect the following rules: Dogs MUST be leashed. Loose dogs WILL BE IMPOUNDED, $50 loose dog fine. Motorbikes and ATV´s on car lanes only. No motorized vehicles in stabling area. USEF Rule GR 301.5 states that no one without a valid driver´s license may operate any motorized vehicle at any time on competition grounds. Small children should be closely supervised. Horses must pass on designated routes ONLY.
