At Reston, use Exit 12, Reston Parkway / VA 602 and make a Left on to Reston Parkway. Third traffic light turn left onto Bluemont Way. Turn right onto Presidents Street to our Northern VA hotel. Washington National Airport / Washington, DC (22 miles) Head North on the George Washington Memorial Parkway (crossing over into Virginia). Take the VA-123 exit toward Chain Bridge / McLean. Keep right at the fork to go on VA-123 S. Merge onto VA-267 W toward I-495 N / Dulles Airport (Portions toll). Take Reston Parkway / VA-602 exit- Exit 12. Keep Right at the fork to go on Reston Parkway / VA-602 N. At the second traffic light turn left onto Bluemont Way. Turn right onto Presidents Street to our hotel in Northern VA. Area Attractions Want to know what to do when you are not attending USEA convention events? Well you are in luck because there are tons of activities to do in Reston and the surrounding areas. The Hyatt Regency is conveniently located in the Reston Town Center, giving you access to a multitude of activities without even stepping foot in a car, bus, or train. Reston Town Center is an outdoor venue with more than 40 retailers - from national chains to unique specialty shops and galleries, 20 of the region's favorite restaurants, and a 13-screen Multiplex Cinema. The Town Center also boasts an outdoor ice skating rink that is a blast for all ages. Feeling a bit more adventerous? Washington D.C is only 18 miles away and easily accessable by taxi. D.C. is chock-full of things to do from the more traditional Smithsonian Museums to the exciting new Newseum. If you are willing to brave the cold, visiting all the national monuments is a definite must. The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, World War II Memorial, and the Vietnam Memorial are all within easy walking distance of eachother. The possibilites of activities in D.C are endless, so stop by the hotel conceirge to get some more ideas.

The CPR/First Aid Certification course is at capacity and cannot accept any more participants. On, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 1:00-4:30 PM the USEA will be conducting a CPR/First Aid Certification course at the Hyatt Regency-Reston Town Center, R (November 20, 2009) The USEA has invested in studies to improve the safety and welfare of horses and riders in the sport of eventing. Join our speakers on Saturday, December 5, at this year's Annual Meeting in Reston, Virginia to hear the results that have been gathered so f (November 12, 2009) Celebrated eventer Lucinda Green will be attending this year's USEA Annual Meeting and Convention held in Reston, Virginia from December 2 -6 to give two seminars. Lucinda's first presentation will given along with USEA President, Kevin Baumgardner, a (November 11, 2009) Legendary scientist and equine researcher, Dr. David Marlin will be conducting three talks at this year's USEA Annual Meeting and Convention to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia from December 2-6.
