The Professional Riders Organization (PRO) and the PRO Junior board are very pleased to announce that Triple Crown Nutrition is returning as the title and presenting sponsor for the Triple Crown JYR Scholarship Program, which takes place at training level, and the Prelim to PRO Team Series program which is geared to preliminary level riders who are looking for a introductory team experience.

The Professional Riders Organization is very pleased to announce that it will honor award recipients at the PRO Award’s Reception at the Omni Hotel in Washington, DC, site of the USEA Annual Meeting and Convention, on Friday, December 4th at 6:15PM. Sara Kozumplik Murphy, a PRO Advisory Board and Award’s Committee member, will host the reception with her longtime owner Edith Rameika.

Buck Davidson from Ocala, Florida held a commanding lead for most of the year and with the completion of Galway Downs International in Temecula, CA captured his first PRO Tour Series Rider LeaderboardAward over second placed Will Coleman.

A foot perfect show jumping round on Chris Barnard’s course gave Laine Ashker and her experienced campaigner, off-the-track thoroughbred Anthony Patch, the win she was looking for at Millbrook. Ashker hadn't run "Al" at the Advanced level since Fair Hill International in October 2012, and the pair made their first run back count.

Triple Crown Nutrition has joined forces with the Professional Riders Organization to promote junior young rider development through the Triple Crown JYR PRO Scholarship Program. Developed by Marcia Kulak, a board member of PRO, the scholarship is now in its third year and offers a significant training reward to participants. Riders compete at designated events on the east and west coasts and earn points based on their performance and horsemanship. Juniors and Young Riders are judged by professional members of PRO, many of whom also act as mentors throughout the year.
