Fast Facts: 2018 USEA Future Event Horse Championships

The USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) East Coast, West Coast, and Central Championships are being held over the next two weeks. First, the West Coast Championships will be held at Twin Rivers Ranch in Paso Robles, California today, Thursday, September 20. Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown, Maryland, will host the East Coast Championships this coming weekend, Septebmer 22 and 23.

USEA Investigating Issues with Mail Delivery through the USPS

It has been brought to the attention of the United States Eventing Association (USEA) that there have been issues with mail delivery by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to the USEA office associated with the busy holiday season. There have been numerous reports by members of letters being sent to the USEA office which have not been received dating back to before the Thanksgiving holiday. We are working with the USPS to attempt to address and resolve this situation. If you have sent in physical mail to the USEA office with no response, we encourage you to contact the office at (703) 779-0440 or via email at [email protected] to verify its arrival.

Parker Equine Insurance Helps Helen Alliston Prioritize Ebay’s Health & Recovery

When Helen Alliston and Ebay fell on the Advanced cross-country course at the Spring Event at Woodside on May 28, 2021, everyone thought that the then 12-year-old gelding walked away without injuries. The pair had been leading their division when Ebay caught a leg on a corner jump toward the end of the course and, as a result, had a half-rotational fall, landing on his neck and partially landing on Helen. Helen was transported to Stanford University Hospital with a broken pelvis, but immediate reports after the event announced that Ebay was unharmed in the accident.
