Major Updates Come to ShowConnect in March 2025

ShowConnect is kicking off spring with a powerful new update—packed with smarter tools, smoother workflows, and an even better experience for both organizers and participants. Whether you're managing entries, scheduling, or keeping the public informed, these upgrades are designed to save time, reduce confusion, and give you more control.

1. Smarter Reporting, Cleaner Insights

ShowConnect's reports have received a complete overhaul:

• New “Scratched Fees” Report: Keep scratched entry fees separate from your main Fees Report for cleaner financial tracking.
• More Filter Power: All major reports now include easy-to-use filters for entry status, divisions, payment types, and more. You can even choose to include or hide scratched entries with a simple toggle.
• Streamlined Views: We’ve cleaned up unnecessary columns and reorganized layouts to keep things focused and export ready.

These updates apply to: Fees, Refunds, Payments, Balances, and Scratched Fees Reports.

2. Waitlist & Entry Control - Now Smarter Than Ever

A brand-new Waitlist Module gives you full control over how entries are managed, ranked, and accepted:

• Flexible options: Accept all, use manual approval, or set automatic rules by event or division
• Draw and rank entries with precision
• Bulk accept or waitlist entries with just a few clicks
• Auto-updating ranks and easy-to-search filters

Perfect for high-demand events where efficiency and fairness are key.

3. Public View Enhancements

The public-facing experience is now cleaner, clearer, and easier to read—especially on mobile:

• Ride times and dates are now sorted for easy scanning
• Division acronyms and owner names are now displayed for added clarity
• Scratched entries appear in grey for instant recognition
• Improved layout and styling across cross-country scoring, ride phases, and more

Plus, we’ve added a link to the CrossCountry App Maps (if applicable for the event), so spectators and riders can follow along with ease.

4. Fewer Clicks, Faster Navigation

Tabs and interfaces across the platform have been reorganized to help you get things done faster with fewer clicks—whether you're setting up an event, managing entries, or reviewing scoring.

A new loading indicator (like a spinning orb) has been added to give you better feedback while the system works behind the scenes.

5. Registration Enhancements

• You can now enter and search by USEA, USEF, and FEI numbers when registering riders
• Additional Breeds Added. New horse breeds have been included to expand your registration options.

6. Under-the-Hood Fixes

From fee calculations to pinny assignments, division updates to import filters, this release includes dozens of behind-the-scenes fixes that make the system work better.

Common pain points and edge cases have been addressed to help everything run more smoothly for you and your team.
