The cross-country course at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy is going to be an uphill battle, in every sense of the word. Not only will the 4* course be longer than last summer’s 2* test event course, but the extra distance will be uphill.
Germany struck gold twice at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy, capturing both the team and individual gold medals for eventing on Sunday.
The U.S. slipped out of the team medals, having lost Phillip Dutton and Buck Davidson, each of whom retired after two refusals on Pierre Michelet’s 35-fence cross-country course.
The US Eventing Team is in third position after two days of dressage, with a provisional team score of 138.8 in the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy.
