Mill Creek Pony Club H.T. at Longview (May 2014) Omnibus Listing

Change Made 05/01/2014
Comment: EHV-1 Notice: MCPC Horse Trial management would like to refer competitors to the press release from the KS Department of Agriculture dated 4/20/14 on our website and facebook page. We have been in contact with our horse trial veterinarian, Dr. Maureen Sutter, of Red Oak Animal Hospital and with the Equine Department at Kansas State University. At this point , the are no planned changes to our competition schedule. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update competitors if warranted.

Please not that All horses attending the MCPC Horse Trials MUST have a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (health certificate) - this is a change in that in prior years, it was only required for horss traveling from outside the state of Missouri. Due to the confirmation of the single case of EHV-1 in the region, we are requiring all horses have current health papers.   In addition, we encourage competitors to contact their veterinarian with any questions about EHV-1.
