New for 2013: Adult Team Competition. 

“Can't get into Morven?  Don't feel like driving all the way south to the Chronicle of the Horse/USEA Adult Team Challenge?  But still want to
compete on Oct. 5th or 6th?  

Well, you are in LUCK!!  The ESDCTA NJ Horse Trials at the Horse Park of NJ is still taking entries through this Friday!  AND we are running an Adult Team Competition!  So get your entries in and find a team!  If you don't have a team we will help place you with other adults who need a team.  The teams just need to be those competing on Sat. (T, P) separate from those competing on Sun. (N, BN,Starter).   

Come join the fun at a venue that is CERTAIN to have excellent footing!

Sun: N, BN, Starter Dressage-8:30am: order of go N,BN, Starter Show Jumping-9:30 am; Cross-country starts at 9:45 am. Rider times will be 15 min after rider's Show Jumping round.

Entry:  P:$190.00 T: $180.00; N: $170.00; BN: $150.00; Starter: $130.00
There is a $25 nonrefundable office fee per entry included in the above fees
Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries not accepted. Starter competitors are exempt from USEA membership/non-membership fees and USEA Starter/D&M fees. BN riders who are not USEA members must pay an extra $25 non-member fee with entry. Non-competing horses must pay a $25 fee, sign in at the office and wear an assigned number while on the Horse Park grounds. No changes to entry after closing dates unless allowed by secretary, but absolutely no changes will be accepted after Sept 25th. Each change will cost $25. Include e-mail address on entry. Refund policy: Refunds will be given for cancellations recieved in writing, email, or fax prior to closing date less $25 office fee. Refunds will be given after closing date, less $25 office fee if the ride times can be filled from the waiting list. Refunds for stabling will be given if stalls can be rerented. No refunds will be given after closing date or "acts of God" which require the management to cancel divisions or day of competition. If you need to fax a document, contact the secretary to make arrangements. No entries accepted via fax. Coggins within 12 months. Horses from out of state must have current Health Certificate.
Competitor Information
Trophy and 8 ribbons per division.
275 permanent stalls on grounds; $60 per night; Day Stalls available $45/ea. Stall doors provided. Bedding available for purchase. NO STRAW ALLOWED.  Additional info from secretary.   Veterinarian:  Vet will be on call during off hours; # posted at secretary stand; On grounds during event. Farrier on grounds during event.

Arenas: Small rings will be used. Dressage & SJ rings are all weather footing composed of sand & screenings. P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B T-2010 USEF Training Test B. N-2010 USEF Novice Test B. BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B. Starter-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A.  


Starter-1500m @ 275 mpm 2'-2'3" will include a run thru water. BN-1700m @ 325 mpm. N-2000m @ 350 mpm. T-2500m @470 mpm. P-3600m @ 520mpm Terrain: Rolling, great footing; Water complex for all levels! BN,N,T more difficult for horses with some experience at these levels.

Other Information:
New for 2013: Adult Team Competition: Adult competitors (age 22 at the beginning of the calendar year) are invited to form teams of 3 or 4 competitors riding on the same day at the same level or different levels. The lowest three scores will count, but all teammates will be eligible for prizes. Give your team a name and put it on you entry form. Adult ridrs who do not form teams will be randomly assigned to teams. Meet new people and support your teammates!  If you do not wish to join a team, please put "No Team" on your entry form. Prizes sponsored by ESDCTA will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place teams each day (attendance at the awards ceremoney  is optiaonl).   

Braiding Optional and Discouraged, Jackets per USEA rules (EV114.8)
Cross-country course closed, except for scheduled schooling days check for these dates.) 
Divisions will be divided or combined if entries warrant. State experience on entry.
Dogs must be leashed or left at home.
Food available on grounds.
