Honoring Tradition: The USEA Classic Series Three-Day Events for 2026

The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is proud to announce the 2026 Classic Series calendar, continuing its commitment to preserving the tradition of long-format eventing with exciting venues once again featured across the country. Step back in time and take on one of eventing’s most rewarding challenges by competing in a USEA Classic Three-Day Event in 2026!
Offered at the Beginner Novice through Preliminary levels, USEA Classic Series events showcase the true roots of the sport. Competitors will experience the full endurance test, including roads and tracks, steeplechase, and cross-country on endurance day, along with horse inspections and a weekend filled with educational opportunities designed to deepen the riders' knowledge and partnership.
Those interested in entering a Classic Series event are encouraged to review their qualifications early. At the Beginner Novice and Novice levels, horse-and-rider combinations must have earned at least one Minimum Eligibility Requirement (MER) at the level or higher within 18 months of the start of the competition. For Training, Modified, and Preliminary Three-Day Events, combinations must also complete one or more MERs at the level or higher, with qualifications earned within 24 months of the competition start date.
Please note that the 2026 USEA Classic Series calendar is tentative and subject to change. Continue to check the USEA Classic Series homepage for updates throughout the year.
