The 2026 K3DE Daily: Dressage Day 1

Today's the day! The first of the field in both the CCI4*-S and CCI5* will be putting their best foot forward in dressage to try and earn a leading spot in the first phase. Competitors in the CCI4*-S will get things underway at 8:30 a.m. EST in the Rolex Stadium with Tamie Smith (USA) and the Kynan Syndicate's 9-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Kynan will be the pathfinder for the 48-horse field. We will only see 23 four-star pairs today, however, with the remaining 22 kicking off their competition weekend tomorrow.
Olivia Dutton and Sea Of Clouds (Malibu Moon x Winner's Ticket), owned by the Sea Of Clouds Partnership, will be the final pair to contest the four-star test today before judges Christina Klingspor (SWE) and Robyn Fisher (USA) at 11:42 a.m. EST. Four-star dressage will resume on Friday and will run from 8:30 a.m. EST to 11:42 a.m. EST.
U.S. rider Caroline Pamucku will start and end the five-star competition today with two of her three tides. Pamucku and the 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding HSH Tolan King (Tolan R x Kilmolash Clover Rhodes), owned by Kelley Hutchinson and the Tolan King Partnership, will serve as the first of 14 pairs to trot down the centerline. She and the 11-year-old warmblood mare She's The One (Jaguar Mail x One To Watch), owned by Pamukcu, Andy Hoff, Mollie Hoff, and Sherrie Martin, will be the last pair to present before judges Andrew Bennie (NZL), Valerie Pride (USA), and Seppo Laine (FIN) at 3:38 p.m. EST today. The remaining 15 pairs on the five-star roster will close out the dressage phase tomorrow starting at 1:30 p.m. EST.
