About the Adequan USEA Gold Cup
Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the Adequan USEA Gold Cup has joined forces with the PRO Tour Series to create an exciting format of competition and greater promotion of the sport of eventing. The Adequan USEA Gold Cup will now consist of 11 qualifying competitions at the Advanced Horse Trials and CIC3* levels, with the final at the Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships, September 26-29 in Tyler, Texas. The $40,000 Adequan Advanced division will serve as the designated division and the winner of the division will be named the 2013 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Champion. The horse and rider pair must complete at least one Gold Cup qualifier to be eligible to compete in the AEC Advanced division and earn the chance to be the keeper of the cup and take home a major chunk of the $40,000.
Winners of each of the 11 Gold Cup events across the country take home a trailer-load of prizes for their achievements. Winners receive $500 in prize money, 7-dose box of Adequan, $200 Point Two Gift Certificate, SmartPak Equine Wellfleet Bridle, a pair of FITS breeches and $350 worth of Nunn Finer Products. Second place finishers also take home a 7-dose box of Adequan and a $100 Point Two Gift Certificate.
The Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series is made possible through the support of its many sponsors: Adequan; Nunn Finer; SmartPak Equine; Nutrena; Broadstone Equine Insurance Agency, Point Two, Dubarry; and FITS.
Adequan is proud to be the official joint therapy treatment of the USEA.
