3 Ditches & A Dude Capture the Essence of the USEA Adult Team Championships to Win the 2026 Adams Horse Supply ATC Scavenger Hunt

3 Ditches & A Dude, the top-placing team in the Adams Horse Supply USEA Novice Adult Team Championship (ATC), proved their competitive spirit went far beyond the ring at the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds. In between each competitive phase, course walks, and cheering for their teammates, the group took the time and effort to submit a stellar entry for the Adams Horse Supply ATC Scavenger Hunt, too!
The United States Eventing Association, Inc. and our partners at Adams Horse Supply are proud to congratulate the 3 Ditches & A Dude team, comprised of members Justine Perrotti riding Cyprinus Carpio, Samantha Marcoux riding Seeing Is Believing, Sarah Varney riding Love You More, and Jasmine McPherson riding Sloan, as the winners of this year's Adams Horse Supply ATC Scavenger Hunt. As the winning team, 3 Ditches & a Dude will be receiving a seriously fun prize pack courtesy of Adams Horse Supply and Equinavia!
From high-fiving volunteers and tackling course walk challenges to finding Adams Horse Supply representatives in the wild, and fully committing to the assignment, they absolutely understood the brief. The best part wasn’t even the scavenger hunt itself. It was seeing exactly what the Adult Team Championships are supposed to be about - new friendships, cheering each other on, helping one another, having fun, and making memories together. We applaud the team for embodying the true spirit of the ATC in their submission!
Check out the team's submissions for the eight photo challenges below:
- High-five a volunteer! Without them, our sport would not be possible!

- Join one of USEA’s Cross-Country Course Walks to prep with the pros. Show us your "Oh no!” face in front of the scariest jump on course!

- Take a photo with a rider you admire, professional or amateur…and thank them for being an inspiration.

- Show an act of good horsemanship with a team horse (i.e. grooming, grazing, etc.)

- Pick your favorite “iconic” background or monument at KHP and take a team photo

- Do "duck face" with an Adams Horse Supply Rep…extra credit if you find one wandering loosely at the park!

- Participate in the Adult Rider Party Hoppy-Horse Races! Name your horse and include him/her in the photo

- Get a full team photo at the Adams Adult Rider Lounge Rider Meet-Up (bonus if you include your Area Coordinator or the USEA Adult Rider Program Chair, Amy Winnen!)

About the Adams Horse Supply USEA Adult Team Championships
The Adams Horse Supply USEA Adult Team Championships, which debuted in 2014, is the capstone event for the USEA Area Adult Team Challenges, providing adults the chance to compete as a team and represent their Area of the country in a friendly and fun environment. Historically, adult riders had three regional Team Challenges in which to compete with fellow adults in a team environment, with the locations changing each year. In 2013, the USEA Adult Rider Coordinators voted to move to support Adult Team Challenges taking place in all 10 Areas across the country, with the finale being the ATC at the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds. Each Area can send up to nine teams and 39 riders for the BN, N, T, and M levels, plus an additional eight members if they are at the Starter level only. Adult Riders know how to have a good time, and there is no doubt that they bring an increased level of excitement and camaraderie to the AEC!
