Mary King's Olympic Partner Call Again Cavalier Euthanized

During what was supposed to be a fun-filled weekend of "indoor eventing" at the inaugural Express Eventing International Cup in Cardiff, Great Britain, the eventing world said goodbye to one of the most popular eventing horses - Call Again Cavalier. Mary King's 16-year-old gelding, who was part of the Great Britain's bronze medal-winning team in Hong Kong, was euthanized after sustaining a suspected broken femur yesterday afternoon after falling during the competition.
