Eventing Camps - What More Could You Want?

A whole week of eventing experiences with top riders - catered to YOUR needs. What better way to get back into the swing of things in the early spring? Pull yourself out of the winter doldrums, back your bags, and get pepped up for some neat riding opportunities with the nation's top riders. Check out this list of a few camps being offered this year...

Aiken Eventing Camp - Feb. 1-6 in Aiken, SC. Ride with Allison Springer and Craig Thompson, learn from top vet Christiana Ober, gain vital sports therapy tips from Abigail Lufkin, train with USEF R judge Amy McElroy, and get ready for a local event - the Sporting Days Horse Trials (and coaching AT the event from some top professionals as well). Adult Camp at Tamarack Hill - March 22-26 in Southern Pines, NC. Who wouldn't want to go down and train with Denny Emerson and some other top well-known riders? Meet some new adult riders, beef up your riding skills, and you'll also probably be highly entertained by some fond stories from Denny himself. Check it out!

Southern Pines Adult Camp - March 9-14 in Southern Pines, NC. Email Linda Dreher, [email protected]" for more information. Get away from the kids for a week and spend some quality time with your horse and your eventing buddies - two lessons a day, seminars, and more!

March Training Sessions at Carolina Horse Park - Southern Pines, NC March 23-27. Each rider will meet with a mentor clinician to define training and competition goals, evaluate strengths and weaknesses, track progress during the clinic, set expectations for continued progress. The list of clinicians includes Jan Byyny, Bobby Costello, Mara Dean, Will Faudree, Holly Hepp, Becky Holder, John Williams, and many other top riders! Spring Fling Adult Event Camp - Aiken, SC. Heidi White and Michael Page are offering this fabulous opportunity for riders to practice their dressage skills, focus on conditioning, learn new gymnastic exercises, school cross-country, and a variety of other cool plans to get you and your horse ready for the season. Apple Tree Farm Camp - Aiken, SC. Apple Tree Farm South offers two camps - one specifically for kids (Feb. 23-27)and one for adults (March 16-20). Geared towards preparing riders for a safe and fun season in '09, you may bring your own horse or lease a horse for the week! Area V Adult Rider Winter Camp - Bellville, TX Feb 13-15. A very cost-efficient camp offered Ruth Sawin & Nancy Lindsey, both of whom are Level 2 ICP instructors. All meals included, wonderful lesson programs, and a mini-show will round out the week. Download the PDF for more info.
