Waredaca to Offer Prize Money at October Classic Three-Day Event

Exciting news to share! In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Waredaca Classic Three-Day Event from Oct. 25-27, we are thrilled to announce the provision of prize money for all four levels of competition!

Prize money for each of the four divisions (Modified, Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice) will be awarded to the owner of the horse that is not ridden by a professional as follows:

  • First Place: $1,000 cash
  • Second Place: $500 cash
  • Third Place: $250 cash

Additionally, four awards across the levels will be given as follows:

  • Two $250 Sportsmanship Awards for the individuals displaying exceptional sportsmanship during the event. Fellow riders can make nominations. The Waredaca Classic Three-Day committee and competition officials will determine the final selection.
  • One $250 Award for the Best Turned Out Horse and Rider at the first horse inspection as determined by our ground jury.
  • One $250 award to the highest-placed horse ridden by a junior who is not already receiving a monetary award.

Meet the 2025 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championship Teams

It's officially time for the "Happiest Horse Trials in the World" this weekend! There will be 154 intercollegiate entries representing 16 schools joining forces to create 42 teams to compete in the 2025 USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championship. Alongside the USEA Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) Championships for the second year in a row, collegiate members will converge on Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina this Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4.
