VIDEO: The New FEI Dressage Tests Demystified

We are bringing you select content from the 2019 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention on demand in partnership with AV America, giving you a chance to experience some of the educational sessions from the comfort of your couch!

All the FEI levels from CCI2* to CCI5* will have new dressage tests in 2020. FEI Judge Marilyn Payne discusses the new 2020 FEI dressage tests for 2020, focusing on the key movements in each test. There are several changes and new movements that have not been used before - Payne explains the new figures and what criteria the judges will be basing their scores on.

A Confidence-Boosting Event at the Twin Rivers Spring International

The Twin Rivers Spring International showed that there isn’t just one right answer when preparing your horse. The CCI4*-S served as a qualifier in the US Equestrian Open of Eventing, but before the $200,000 finals at Morven in Virginia, on Oct. 9-12, seven of the 11 horses were competing in their final prep before the approximately 2,300-mile haul to Lexington for the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event in two weeks.
