VIDEO: Doug Payne and Kelli Temple Lead USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships at Fair Hill

The USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships got under way today at the Fair Hill International Horse Trials with conformation first thing in the morning and dressage in the main arena throughout the day. Doug Payne leads the 5-Year-Old division with his and Kristen Burgers' Royal Tribute, a 17.1-hand Oldenburg gelding by Royal Prince and out of Firstar. He earned an 11.55 out of 15 in the conformation phase and a 32.76 out of 35 in the dressage phase for a total score of 44.31. Kelli Temple leads the 4-Year-Old division Julian Stiller's Corneel, a 16.2-hand Dutch Warmblood by Cartano and out of Godiva. The pair scored an 11.75 in conformation and a 31.57 in dressage for a total of 43.32. Live Scores
