VIDEO: Cultivating the Whole Equestrian
We are bringing you select content from the 2019 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention on demand in partnership with AV America, giving you a chance to experience some of the educational sessions from the comfort of your couch!
The focus of this presentation is mindfulness practice, how it ties into the core principles of mindset, fitness, nutrition, and community, and how these topics foster optimal performance in and out of the saddle. As equestrians, we invest a lot of time and energy making sure that our horses are in their best shape to compete and in doing so we often sweep our own needs to the side. By paying attention to the Whole Equestrian and investing in our own self-care, we believe we can enhance our lives with horses as a source of success and fulfillment regardless of outside circumstances.

The USEA Annual Meeting & Convention takes place each December and brings together a large group of dedicated USEA members and supporters to discuss, learn, and enjoy being surrounded by other eventing enthusiasts. The USEA organizes multiple seminars in addition to committee meetings, open forums, and tons of fun! USEF Announces Defender U.S. Eventing Team for Chatsworth CCIO4*-NC-S
The United States Equestrian Federation has announced the four combinations from the European Development Tour selected to represent the Defender U.S. Eventing Team at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Great Britain CCIO4*-NC-S. The event will take place during the Chatsworth International Horse Trials in Bakewell, England, from May 17-19.

Do you want to break into the world of providing eventing commentary at events or brush up on your already-acquired skills? Legendary equestrian commentator John Kyle, who has been "the voice" of the Kentucky Three-Day Event live stream since 2014, has provided commentary for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games, 2016 Rio Olympic Games, 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and is contracted to provide his services during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and so much more.

Defender Kentucky Five-Star Entries Down to 40
The five-star field for the 2024 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event has narrowed, with eight riders having withdrawn since entries were released on March 28. As of the morning of April 15, the following pairs have pulled their entries: Grace Taylor, Tamie Smith, Rosalind Canter, Sydney Solomon, Emily Hamel, Phillip Dutton, and Nicolai Aldinger.
