The USEA is happy to introduce Equithrive™ as the latest Silver Level Sponsor of the 2010 USEA American Eventing Championships. Equithrive™ is an all-natural line of equine nutraceuticals that has been scientifically formulated to maximize the health and performance of your horse. The Kentucky-based company will be a great asset to the championships.
“Equithrive™ is proud to become a sponsor of the USEA’s American Eventing Championships at Chattahoochee Hills,” said Dr. Patrick Lawless, President of Equithrive™. “The company looks forward to the opportunity to introduce the Equithrive™ product line to the numerous competitors that will participate in the 2010 AEC.”
Equithrive™ entered the equine marketplace in December of 2008 in the Thoroughbred racing industry. Equithrive™ has rapidly gained national recognition as the first company to introduce a purified form of the natural compound resveratrol into the equine marketplace. Experimental studies conducted at the Gluck Equine Research Center indicate resveratrol, specifically in the formulation Equithrive™ Joint, reduces gene expression of inflammatory mediators. Veterinarians are using Equithrive™ Joint to manage the chronic inflammation associated with heavy training and competition. The product is proving particularly beneficial in older horses experiencing stiffness and soreness. Equithrive™ Joint can be used continuously without negative gastrointestinal side effects and can be administered during FEI-sanctioned events.
Resveratrol has received considerable attention from the medical research community and the popular press over the past decade. The natural compound has passed Phase IIa clinical trials as a treatment for Type II Diabetes and various forms of cancer, and further research is being conducted to evaluate the potential of resveratrol to treat additional aging-related illnesses, such as cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases.
Be sure and stop by the Equithrive™ booth at the AEC to learn all about these great products.

Luckily, the USEF Rules for Eventing has clear outlines on how to do so. Let's take a look at the current regulations as of today's publish date to see how to handle these situations should they arise.
