USEA Convention Seminar Highlight: Smart Business Practices For Eventing Professionals
The 2010 USEA Convention and Annual Meeting is going to offer a plethora of meetings, forums, and seminars for eventers of every age and level. One such seminar is Smart Business Practices For Eventing Professional. This seminar will be broken into two parts. The first half will feature Elisabeth McMillan of www.EquestrianProfessional.com and the second, equine lawyer, Yvonne Ocrant.
The subject of McMillan's speech will be: Achieving Equestrian Career Goals While Building a Profitable Horse Business – What it Takes To Succeed. Her topics of conversation will include why profitability is important, why you must unify your business and career goals, how to create a cycle of success – this will include marketing strategies and why ongoing education/certification is critical.
Yvonee Ocrant will then take the microphone to discuss important laws that relate to eventing professionals, how to create contracts, creating good owner/rider practices, and as well as other important points.
