The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with The Jockey Club for the 2026 season. As part of this continued collaboration, The Jockey Club will return as a Silver Sponsor of the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) and a Contributing Sponsor of the USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) Program. New for 2026, The Jockey Club will also extend its support to the USEA Classic Series as a Contributing Sponsor, further broadening its impact across multiple levels of the sport.

At both the AEC and YEH Championships, The Jockey Club will provide Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) awards for all T.I.P champions and reserve champions. In addition, as a part of its initiative for the USEA Classic Series, The Jockey Club will recognize T.I.P. USEA Classic Series high-point winners at the conclusion of the season, spanning Beginner Novice through Preliminary levels. For 2026, The Jockey Club has also doubled its prize money for T.I.P. Champions across all supported programs, with champions now receiving $200 each.

“We are delighted to once again sponsor the USEA American Eventing Championships and the Young Event Horse Program and are excited to add awards for the Classic Series,” said Kristin Werner, Deputy General Counsel and Director of Industry Initiatives for The Jockey Club and administrator of T.I.P. “We look forward to celebrating the many talents of the Thoroughbred breed and further showcasing their heart and versatility.”

The Jockey Club is the official breed registry for Thoroughbred horses in North America and has maintained the American Stud Book since its founding in 1894. For more than a century, the organization has been dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the Thoroughbred, while also promoting education, welfare, and industry awareness. A key initiative supporting this mission is T.I.P., which encourages the transition of retired racehorses into second careers. Through T.I.P., The Jockey Club provides awards and recognition for Thoroughbreds competing across a variety of disciplines, including eventing.

“The Jockey Club continues to be an invaluable partner in helping us showcase the versatility and success of Thoroughbreds in eventing,” said USEA CEO Rob Burk. “Their support across the American Eventing Championships, Young Event Horse Program, and now the Classic Series strengthens our ability to provide meaningful opportunities for riders and horses at every stage of development.”

With expanded support now including the USEA Classic Series, this partnership further reflects a shared dedication to promoting the Thoroughbred as a competitive and adaptable sport horse. The continued involvement of The Jockey Club ensures that these programs remain strong platforms for recognizing achievement, encouraging participation, and celebrating the lasting impact of Thoroughbreds within the eventing community.

Thoroughbred Incentive Program

Created and announced in October 2011, T.I.P. recognizes and rewards the versatility of the Thoroughbred through sponsorship of Thoroughbred classes and high point awards at sanctioned horse shows, performance awards, a recreational riding program, championship horse shows and non-competition awards. Additional information about T.I.P. is available at tjctip.com and on the T.I.P. Facebook page at facebook.com/tjctip.
