USEA Events A-Z: Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm

The Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown, Maryland (Area II) hosts three USEA recognized events each year on back-to-back weekends in July and in mid-October, offering Introductory through Intermediate level competition, CCI*-S, CCI2*-S, and CCI3*-S divisions, and USEA Future, New, and Young Event Horse classes.

Loch Moy Farm to Host Winter Cross Derby Series

The Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy Farm will be hosting a Winter Cross Derby Series in the early months of 2019. The cross derby incorporates cross-country and stadium jumps across eight acres of all-weather footing. Obstacles will include ditches, banks, water, and various portable fences.

Colts Come Out on Top on Day Two at the 2018 USEA FEH East Coast Championships

The rainfall at Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown, Md. couldn’t dampen the spirits of the 14 2-year-olds, 12 yearlings, and their handlers who came to compete at the second and final day of the USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) East Coast Championships. Judges Robin Walker and Peter Gray judged a total of 50 young horses aging from yearlings to 4-year-olds over the course of the two-day competition.

Solo Hit Strikes a High Note at the 2018 USEA FEH East Coast Championships

The first day of autumn also ushered in the first day of the 2018 USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) East Coast Championship at Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown, Md.
