Rolex Kentucky First Jog - Part 2

By USEA | April 24, 2008

McKinlaigh is the George Clooney of event horses.
Gina Miles & "Mac" look relatively fresh, considering they had to trek all the way from CA
In my opinion, Northern Spy has the best ears. Big, floppy ears are totally in this year. They're the new black.
He and Heidi White-Carty just won the Fork CIC3*-W a few weeks ago... is a Rolex victory within their grasp? I'm rootin' for them!
A true gentleman, Stephen Bradley jogs Jane Sleeper's mount UN for her.
West Coaster Jennifer Wooten and her minxy little mare The Good Witch.
Jon Holling's ride Dun To A T was unfortunately spun, but luckily he passed on re-inspection.
Love. This. Horse.
Julia Steinberg is dressed in her Derby hat as she presents Mr. Big.
"Mom's hat was very posh, in my opinion." If Mr.Big were human, he'd use words like "posh" and "exquisite" and "darling." Just because he's a classy guy.
Hugh Knows has a very regal look to him. Him and Karen O'Connor make a nice pair, if I do say so myself.
But we all love the pony. By the way, Karen, the cream-colored suit is lovely. Thought you might like to know.
What's not to love?
Kelly Sult and her lovely gelding Hollywood. Love this horse... such a trooper.
Kim Severson's big grey Tipperary Liadhnan has some pretty big shoes to fill after Winsome Adante's retirement
I think he's got the heart to be a four-star horse. Look at him...he's already in the zone.
Canadian Kyle Carter's gelding Madison Park was feeling a little frisky: "Whoa there, buddy..."
"There ya go - watch me, left, right, left, right..."
Laine Ashker looking cute as always with the first of her rides, Frodo Baggins, who'd apparently shaved off his hobbity curls for this very occasion.
Horse #2, Mazetto, heads down the lane with Laine looking like an old pro.
Dunrath Alto with longtime partner Lauren O'Brien
Lovely!
Lynn Symansky & No It Tissant were dressed to the nines
Another Canadian - Mike Winter and Kingpin stop to smell the flowers (sort of)
Mikki Kuchta & Oz
Whaddya think, Oz? I don't think you're in Kansas anymore.
Missy Ransenhousen & Critical Decision (who's always very aloof - and apparently loves his photo taken...that ham!)
Phillip Dutton & Woodburn. Love that banged tail...very stylish! (Woodburn's tail, of course)
Phillip heads down the lane
Phillip & Connaught...already bored. Don't worry, Phillip, cross-country's only a few days away!
Handsome Connaught
The Lone Brits - Polly Stockton & Tangleman
Sandra Donnelly & Buenos Aires
Sarah Hansel & The Quiet Man (who's living up to his name...was meek as a mouse down the lane!)
Selena O'Hanlon & Colombo
Stephen Bradley cheesin' it up for the vets as he presents Brandenburg's Joshua
Stephen looking very business-like with From
Tara Ziegler was apparently dressed by Dubarry Boots for the jog. I have to say, I like the look. Buckingham Place doesn't seem to mind either!
Waylon Roberts & Paleface - looking very dapper!
What a face!
Poor Will Faudree thought he and Antigua would have another go at Rolex...
But alas, it was not to be. They were spun, and then withdrew from the competition.
The USEA gang never misses a moment of the action: (left to right) Sharon Gallagher, Nancy Myers, Wendy Weinstein, Jo Whitehouse (in the back), and Jennifer Hardwick
