Request for Expressions of Interest: American Eventing Championships Host Site

The USEA is accepting expressions of interest from potential host sites of the American Eventing Championships (AEC), beginning in 2016.
The AEC, which is conducted over 4 days, may be held anywhere in the United States. While the competition has previously run during the month of September, all potential dates may be considered. Historically, the AEC has been held at a location for three years at a time, but the USEA is open to contracts of varying terms.
Expressions of interest should be submitted in the form of a letter of 500 words or less. Only the owner(s) or operator(s) of a prospective host site may nominate said venue to be a host site. All expressions should be submitted by January 15, 2015.
The event attracts an average of 500 riders, approximately 2,000 spectators, and has an annual economic impact of over one million dollars. The championships include six levels of competition from Beginner Novice to Advanced.
