The U.S. Eventing Association’s Instructors’ Certification Program invites you to attend the 2012 ICP 2-DAY DRESSAGE AND JUMPING SYMPOSIUM, Monday and Tuesday, February 13 and 14, at Longwood Farm South in Ocala, Florida. Please join us on the first day, on the second day – or both!
Monday, February 13, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Attend a day-long educational presentation by the President of the London 2012 Olympics Dressage Ground Jury, British judge Stephen Clarke. Mr. Clarke will work with rider/horse pairs on dressage movements from Training level through Advanced level (third/fourth levels). With each of these riders and the audience, he will discuss what he sees. Then he will explain his score for each movement, present instruction to that rider, and watch that rider re-present that movement. Also, he will evaluate a complete Preliminary level and a complete Advanced level test. Known as today’s most popular FEI “O” judge, Mr. Clarke looks forward as much to his discussion and Q-and-A with the audience as with the riders. Attendance by ICP-certified instructors will earn them ICP continuing education credit. Attendance by USDF members will make them eligible for USDF University credits.
