One Month Until the 2022 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention in Savannah, Georgia - Helpful Links and Information Abound!

In just a few weeks, the USEA membership will convene in Savannah, GA for the 2022 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention on December 7-11 at the Hyatt Regency Savannah Hotel. Continue reading for all of the must-know information regarding registration, accommodations, the 8th edition of the USEA Eventing Hall of Fame, and more!

Registration

Registration is open! A full week pass allows you access to all open meetings Thursday through Sunday and includes one ticket to the USEA Annual Meeting of Members luncheon. Register now through December 5th to take advantage of the early bird price for a full week pass, which is $275 for USEA members and $150 for Junior and Collegiate USEA members. Accommodations

The 2022 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention will take place at the Hyatt Regency Savannah hotel, which is located at 2 W. Bay Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401 United States. Save over $100 per night by reserving a room at the Hyatt Regency Savannah Hotel through the USEA room block. After November 15, the USEA room block rate will expire and rates will increase to $276 per night and above. Click here to reserve your room at the discounted $159 rate today.

Parking

The Hyatt Regency Savannah offers secure underground valet parking. There is also self-parking available at a nearby City of Savannah garage. Valet parking at the hotel starts at $15 for 0-4 hours and is $38 for 8+ hours. Self-parking is available off-site in the Whitaker Street Garage for $16 per day.

Transportation

The hotel is only 10 miles from the Savannah - Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), which offers around 60 daily nonstop departures and several additional seasonal nonstop flights from 8 airlines.

Schedule

The 2022 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention has a jam-packed schedule including an interactive show jumping seminar with Marc Donovan and Chris Barnard on Wednesday, an FEI Eventing World Championship Pratoni recap with the U.S. Eventing team, a unique keynote speaker presentation featuring Dr. Sue Dyson, the 2022 Awards Ceremony celebration and the USEA’s Eventing Hall of Fame Gala.

Special Events and Functions

USEA members may purchase tickets here to the following special events:

  • Wednesday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. – Show Jumping Building Seminar taught by Marc Donovan and Chris Barnard - $75 per ticket
  • Thursday, December 8 at 6:00 p.m. – USEA Board of Governors Reception – complimentary with registration
  • Friday, December 9 at 12:00 p.m. – USEA Year End Awards Luncheon - $80 per ticket
  • Saturday, December 10 at 12:00 p.m. – USEA Annual Meeting of Members Luncheon and Keynote Presentation with Dr. Sue Dyson (one ticket included per registration). Additional tickets - $60 each
  • Saturday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m. – USEA’s Eventing Hall of Fame Gala – A single Hall of Fame dinner ticket is $115. For those interested in attending with a group, a table for 8 people is $920 or a table for 10 people is $1,150.

The USEA awards ceremony luncheon on Friday, December 9 will honor the great achievements USEA members have accomplished this past year. The special awards will include the USEA leaderboard of champions presented by Nunn Finer, the overall leaderboard champions, appreciation awards, and the USEA Foundation grants. Dutton and Possante Lead the Advanced Division at Millbrook Horse Trials

The Millbrook Horse Trials kicked off on July 25 with lower level dressage at Riga Meadow Equestrian Center at Coole Park in Millbrook, New York. There are more than 400 total entries competing at Millbrook, from Beginner Novice to Advanced level. Today the upper level horses cantered down the centerline, while the lower levels headed out on cross-country.
