Memory of Zoe DiGiovanni Will Be Made Permanent at Carolina Horse Park

In October of 2013, Southern Pines native Zoe DiGionvanni passed away at the tender age of 23 in a riding accident. Zoe's passing left an unfillable hole in the hearts of her family and friends, and the greater eventing community.
As Zoe was a frequent competitor at the Carolina Horse Park, a group of local eventers are now working to create a memorial jump for her at the Park.
“The bank complex was chosen because it would be a permanent jump, rather than a moveable one, and also because we wanted something that would include all levels of competition,” Amy Brezky, who initiated the project, told The Pilot. “Together with Tim Murray, we reviewed the planned renovations to the jump complex, which include raising the height of the bank for the higher levels and adding a beginner novice bank, which has not existed before at the horse park.”
The team's fundraising goal is $5000, which they hope to reach by the Carolina International CIC3* in March.
Those interested in contributing to Zoe’s Jump project can make checks out to The Carolina Horse Park, note “Zoe’s Jump” on the check. Mail to: Amy Bresky, Friendship Farm, 3403 Youngs Road, Southern Pines, NC, 28387.
