Lambert Leaps into the CCI2* Lead at NAJYRC, Loria Maintains Top Spot in CCI1*
In Lexington, Kentucky, Lauren Lambert and Baba Creek had a solid trip around the cross-country course (designed by David O’Connor) adding only 0.8 seconds to the clock to jump up four spots in the standings and take over the lead in the CCI2*with a 53.6. Sauvignon gave Julia Norman a great ride, and after posting the only double-clear round of the day in the division, they moved into second—only 0.1 points behind the leaders. Kelly Pugh and Copycat Chloe dropped one position to third with 4.0 time faults, leaving them with 55.9. Meanwhile, in the CCI1*, the top three standings remained the same as yesterday. Kelly Loria and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds hung onto their overnight lead with a fault-free round, leaving them with a 40.0 headed into tomorrow.
