Holder Fires Off a Win at Poplar Place

By USEA | January 24, 2011

Becky Holder of Palmetto, Georgia had a fantastic weekend at Poplar Place Farm January Horse Trials last weekend, leading the Open Intermediate/Preliminary division from start to finish. Holder and the 12-year-old Thoroughbred gelding (owned by Rick and Paige Dunkerton) tacked on only 3.2 cross-country time faults to finish ahead of Werner Geven and Golden Malt. Holder also finished third in the division aboard Faye Woolf’s Call Me Ollie. Check out the complete results on the Poplar Place Farm website. Leslie Threlkeld photo.
