Eventing Search Committee Formed to Find Next Technical Advisor/Chef d'Equipe

Lexington, KY - Earlier this year, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) announced that Capt. Mark Phillips will be retiring as US Eventing Technical Advisor/ Chef d'Equipe after the 2012 Olympic Games. The USEF has formed a Search Committee to identify candidates to succeed Capt. Phillips.

The Eventing Technical Advisor/Chef d'Equipe Search Committee members are:

Chairman: Eric Straus, New Canaan, CT
Robert Costello, Southern Pines, NC
Kevin Freeman, Portland, OR
Mike Huber, Bartonville TX
George Morris, Wellington, FL
Katie Prudent, Middleburg, VA
Amy Tryon, Duvall, WA

The Search Committee members were appointed based on recommendations from the USEF Eventing Eligible Athlete and High Performance Committees.

The Search Committee's initial responsibility will be to develop a job description and timeline which will then be posted. Interested individuals will then be invited to apply.
