US Equestrian (USEF) is moving! From Friday, August 30, to Tuesday, September 3, the USEF office will be closed while we move to our new building within the Kentucky Horse Park. Launched in early 2019, U.S. Eventing Performance Director Erik Duvander designed the U.S. Eventing Pathway Program to create a “culture of competitiveness” and provide a more clearly defined pathway for eventing athletes in the U.S.
US Equestrian is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenni Autry as Managing Director of Eventing. Autry (Kennett Square, Pa.), will relocate to Lexington, Ky., and will take over the role formally on August 10, but she will start transitioning into the role on July 15. Autry is well known in the eventing world through her role as managing editor of Eventing Nation.

Unfortunately, Tamie Smith has withdrawn Fleeceworks Royal, Judith McSwain’s 10-year-old Holsteiner mare, as announced through Smith's Facebook page. Smith’s direct reserve horse Mai Baum, a 13-year-old German Sport Horse gelding owned by Alexandra Ahearn, Ellen Ahearn, and Eric Markell, will replace Fleeceworks Royal.

US Equestrian has announced the nomination of the following athlete-and-horse combinations to the U.S. Eventing Team, as well as the Reserves for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. Three direct reserve horses have also been named. A direct reserve horse would be an automatic replacement should the original horse on which an athlete was named need to be substituted.
