Hope Nicyper-Meryman and Optical Illusion (pictured above) finished all four phases within the time and moved up three places to take over the lead on a score of 39.8. Joanne Gelarden and Shackleton sit in second-place on a 44.2. They added seven time penalties on Phase A to their dressage score of 37.2. Erin Kimmer and Coltrane are in third on their dressage score, fourth place goes to Babette Lenna and Little Oliver who added 173 time penalties on Phase C, and the final starter Sara Siegel and Subtle Contrast decided to withdraw before Phase D.
