Donald Gerlach (1954-2014)
It is with heavy hearts that the USEA acknowledges the passing of one of its members, Don Gerlach. Don, 59, was an active member of the Area IX eventing community and contributed an immeasurable amount of time and effort to the Powder Basin Equestrian Center in Gillette, WY. Don was known as a fierce competitor, a caring friend, and a selfless individual that could always be counted on. Our condolences go out to his friends, family, and all of those touched by Don's life.
Services for Don will be heldWednesday, Jan. 15 at 6:00pm at Gillette Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Don Gerlach Memorial Fund to maintain the Equestrian Park or to the Campbell County 4-H Horse Program. Checks may be sent to PBEA, Teresa Craig, 3200 Fitch Dr. Gillette, WY 82718.
