Atlanta (2008-2016)

By USEA | February 12, 2016

The USEA is very sad to share that Atlanta, an 8-year-old Argentinian Sport Horse, was humanely euthanized on course this morning at the Ocala Horse Properties Winter II Horse Trials in Ocala, Fla. Ridden by owner, Juan Larrazabal, Atlanta suffered a fractured leg on the Intermediate cross-country course. Atlanta was immediately attended to by the on-site veterinary team, and it was decided that it was in his best interest to be humanely euthanized.

The USEA sends our deepest condolences to Juan and all of Atlanta’s connections.
