Adequan Returns As USEA Sponsor and Doubles 2011 Gold Cup Prize
Adequan along with the USEA announced today at the USEA Awards Luncheon that the year-end purse for the 2011 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series will be doubled to $20,000 and the Gold Cup Champion will be awarded a year supply of Adequan.
“I have such a passion for everything that you do for this sport,” said Allyn Mann of Adequan. “I want to up the ante, and whoever is going to be standing on this stage will be receiving $20,000. I am all about giving back to those who support our product and those are you eventers.”
The United States Eventing Association is delighted to welcome back longtime sponsor and partner, Adequan, as the Official Joint Therapy Treatment of the USEA and title sponsor of the popular Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series.
“The USEA is thrilled that Adequan is returning as a corporate sponsor and in their title role of the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series,” said USEA CEO Jo Whitehouse. “As eventers, our horses' health and comfort are the top priority, and Adequan’s products give us the ability to provide the best care possible for our partners.”
Now in its seventh year, the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series is an exciting format of competition and entertainment for U.S. Eventing, encompassing seven of the top eventing competitions from around the U.S. where the best of the best vie for prize money, trophies, and the title of Gold Cup Champion.
The winners of each of the Gold Cup events take home $500, a 7-dose box of Adequan, along with prizes from many of the supporting sponsors. In past years the year-end winner also received a $10,000 check at the USEA Annual Meeting and Convention. However, in 2011 the winner will be taking home double that, a hefty $20,000, thanks to the generosity of Adequan.
Adequan is an integral part of the USEA Sponsorship family, and the USEA is happy to have them back for another three years.
