Aachem and Ready for April Get the Party Started at Rebecca Farm

Thirteen five-year-olds and thirteen four-year-olds competing in the Spalding Labs/USEA Young Event Horse classes today were the first to take the stage at this year’s highly-anticipated Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana. At the end of the afternoon, Cathy Wieschhoff of Lexington, Kentucky piloted her Thoroughbred gelding Ready for April to the win in the five-year-old class (with an 82.4), while Marc Grandia, of Onalaska, Washington, and Alison Ashbaugh’s four-year-old Aachem won the four-year-old division with an 82.8.
